The Challenge
The RunTour running event wanted to increase participation, generate revenue, and become the nation's first. Knowing that over 90% of amateur runners have no chance at winning a race, we decided to turn each runner into a winner.

The Idea
RunTour reprogrammed all the runners' RFID tags not only to track each athletes' time, but also to count how many runners they overtook, rewarding them accordingly.

Results
A marketing investment of just 10 hours of RFID coding | Sales increased 394% | 80% of participants improved performance | Registrations for RunTour increased by 12%
